Dr. Rudi is amazing. She and her assistant (Hunter B.) were so patient with my reactive GSD, and at each stage they did not give up. They were so nice to him and so patient eventhough Xerxie gave them real hard time. To both of you from me and my wife and Xerxie: Thank you! 🙏
Dr Sherif is a very thorough, attentive + personable veterinarian. He recently treated 2 of my own senior rescue dogs. Joey a chihuahua mix was treated on an emergency basis for a corneal ulcer + MJ who is a powerhouse terrier for maintenance vet care. Joey has completely recovered from his eye issue. Dr Sherif prescribed all of the right meds. I bought a very affordable yearly plan thru this clinic for MJ which covers all of her essential medical needs. She was there last week for her vaccines + the Precision 6 HW/Tick test. She is a former Louisiana stray who was HW+. She is a very challenging girl to examine + treat. Dr Sherif handled both dogs with a very caring, calming bedside manner. He has seen it all in his homeland Egypt + having a rescue background myself I respect this experience. This is an affordable, independently owned clinic which has the added perk of being open Saturday. I have had many rescue dogs + fosters (including palliative) throughout the years + wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic.
Horrible place to go! First, they are terrible at drawing blood. My poor cat's neck looked like they had butchered her! Not to mention, it took 45 minutes! Second, the staff member who handled my cat (sorry if this sounds rude) smelled terrible, like ammonia and something else. I had to give my cat a bath when I got home because I couldn't get the smell off. I won't mention her name because I don't want to attack her, but seriously! Third, what they charge for blood work and even food is disgusting, its cheaper literallye everywhere else. My sister works for the lab they use, HealthGene, and she was beside herself at what I paid for an Express Feline Wellness Profile. She said it should cost $91, and here I am paying over $300! They don't even have a general blood panel that's over 100$That's a 237% markup! That's beyond disgusting and unethical! Fourth, the reason for the blood work was to get my cat a dental cleaning. The estimate they gave me was over $2000 — $800 to $1100 was just for extracting two teeth! Pure avariciousness! After calling around and doing some research, I found out that most vets charge at most $120 per tooth, depending on how hard it is to remove. These people charge by the hour. It's outrageous! Fifth, the way the owner/boss talks to his staff is shocking. The walls are thin, and while I couldn't clearly hear what he was saying, his tone and volume were very aggressive and rude! I would quit in a heartbeat! This clinic will be out of business soon if this is how they operate! If you care about your pet DO NOT GO HERE!
This vet performed a surgery that they have little to no experience on. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. My dog’s testicles never descended so it was a cryptoorchid neutering surgery (it is very important to get them out because they can become cancerous because they're not in the right spot so this is a very big deal) . I HAVE HAD THIS SURGERY APPOINTMENT BOOKED SINCE MARCH and they never once mentioned an ultrasound. I’ve had to rebook a few times and the date was now set for August. The day before the surgery they started mentioning the ultrasound which was never thought about by anyone there because then I would need to book the company who does that then rebook another surgery date. Clearly was a last minute thought. That would now cost an extra $600 and with little to no time to decide I said no. They did tell me the risk of having to make another incision if they didn’t find them in the usual spot. THEY NEVER EVER MENTIONED that there would be a risk of not finding them at all. The surgeon then gave me a condescending phone call saying that I did say no and when I responded he then tried to repeat himself by saying “again let me remind you that you declined to this” —Also there’s other reviews mentioning that this guy is condescending and rude to which they’re denying. I believe in standing behind your team but this surgeon is bringing this company down. So essentially my dog went through that surgery for nothing with no care from the surgeon and I paid almost 2K. If I had more time to prepare and think I definitely would’ve done it but it was so last minute which is very unprofessional. Also don’t think the surgeon is trained very well because my dog’s incisions did not look sewn properly—he was also bleeding (and no he was not jumping around). They then agreed after the fact to pay for an ultrasound (because they knew they messed up) to which they did but that in itself was complicated because no one was aware the vet there agreed to do this and then he was on vacation at the time of the ultrasound. That was finally cleared up and done but now I have been asking them if it’s ok to re do this surgery in January and they booked the appointment but I thought maybe that’s too far out and the testicles could move from where they were in the ultrasound from now until then (which I shouldn't have to be asking, they should have this knowledge already). After waiting for weeks to hear back from this surgeon all his answer was is to come as soon as possible. No advice or understanding. It’s all just a money grab and the surgeons do not care about your pets especially in these more complicated circumstances. I will not be returning and hope another vet can take over this situation. The way this whole situation was handled is disgusting. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE.
