Purchased a new pair of ladies Keen sandals ar Algonquin Outfitters in Huntsville. Got home,opened box to find two different sizes, one 6, one 6.5. Ya it was an end of season final sale, butttttt one still expects two shoes of the same size!!! Live 4 hours away. Not pleased, hence the ONE STAR. *** Have been contacted by Algonquin outfitters & are sending a pair of sandals to me. Pleasantly surprised by response.

Outdoor enthusiasts pay attention! If you are a gear head (like me, can’t have enough), or are just in need of some outdoor recreating pieces, or are even a poser and just want to look the part, this is your store! They have it all. Canoes, kayaks, paddles, tents, maps, sleeping bags, pots, pans, stoves, climbing equipment, jackets, rain pants, clothing….well, you get the picture. High end equipment, as well as more reasonably priced items for those on a lower budget. I have found go top of the line though, don’t need a ‘fail’ on the water or trail. Anyway, even if you think you don’t need anything stop by and browse. It’s like a candy store for outdoor recreational people.

Amazing and helpful staff. My son was looking to purchase something for his bike when one of the guys from the basement pitched in his own funds to cover the difference. This was such an extremely generous gesture that didn’t just make his day but was a true lesson in selflessness and generosity.
