I have been working with the company for 5 plus years and can recommend 100% . They are the backbone of my business both for SEO, website updates and google ads. I would genuinely be lost without the net and they are great value for money also

In being as fair as possible I have given two stars as the work that The Net carried out on my SEO and the upgrading of my online presence was of high quality unfortunately this is the only element of my experience with this company that I am happy with. The Net hosted my website for approx 2 years and I choose them to carry out work as part of a project that was also funded by the trading online voucher. After agreeing on the goals of the project and paying a large retainer I didn't hear anything from the company for 3 months and when I reached out I was advised they were too busy with bigger clients. Unfortunately this was the flavour of most of my dealings with the Net throughout my two year dealings with them. I paid a monthly fee for my website to be hosted with this company and was continually being charged even though my website was down (without my knowledge) for nearly 5 weeks. When I asked to cancel the hosting subscription I was advised I'd need to pay for another 2 months as they 'bulk buy' in advance. I brought my website over to another company and it took them a week to fix all of the issues, they advised me that the website had not been cared for and nothing had been updated or fixed for over 12 months. The Net didn't once apologize for this, infact they hadn't even noticed, instead I was spoke to in the usual rude and abrupt fashion I was used to, being talked over, told they had '700 other websites to look after'. I lost 40% of my income during this period in the absence of new clients and I had to pay a large fee to another company to fix all of these issues. Additionally they have taken unauthorized lump sums out of my business account without even apologizing. If you're a small business owner like me you'll be acutely aware that when large sums of money are taken from your account without notification it has a knock on effect on your business for days. It is unfortunate that the rude and incompetent nature of some employees take down the calibre of the whole company as I find Scott to be pleasant, knowledgeable and very good at his job. If you are a small business owner trust me this company is not for you. Find someone else who values their clients, works with them to achieve their goals and speaks to you how you deserve to be spoke to as a paying customer.

Delighted with our new website that we git redesigned by thenet. Emer and Dave were a delight to work with and we were able to get the website designed to our deadline and within the budget that was quoted. We were worried about our rankings on Google being disrupted, so we had thenet to carry out an SEO audit to make sure that we maintained or improved our rankings. So far two months since our new website went live we have seen an improvement in our rankings and our website traffic is up. Looking forward to working with them on improving conversions now.
