Customer experiences
Wonderful spot with flavorful food and warm hospitality! The restaurant offers both traditional floor seating with pillows and regular tables, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. We sampled a variety of appetizers, and top recommendations include the hummus with shredded lamb, the samosas, and the smoked eggplant — all absolutely delicious. The traditional dessert made with shredded bread and banana is also a must-try. With so many other intriguing dishes on the menu, we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
Such a beautiful and cozy space. Staff were friendly and treated everyone like family. Great menu with good selection of bread and apps. We tried the eggplant dip which was smokey, warm and had good depth of flavour. Portions are generous so we split the baked lamb with rice, which was tender, fall off the bone and well seasoned. The accompanying broth and salad were a treat. Mocktails, tea, coffee and desserts are available. Lovely atmosphere with families, couples and individual diners. What a gem of a place.
This cosy Arabic restaurant/cafe is ideal for a healthy lunch or dinner in a charming atmosphere. Grape leaves as appetizer and shredded chicken and vegetables stew were so nourishing after our mile walk from Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts through a wonderful park. Ramya made our day with her excellent service and topped it off with authentic Indian chai/tea!
Fantastic spot for cozy and hearty yemeni food. My friends and I visited last winter and the warm stews were perfect for the cold weather. We got the hummus with shredded lamb in it to share, as well as our own entrees. The hummus side dish came with plenty of pita bread on the side, though the pita was somewhat bland. The lamb stew was my favorite. It came literally boiling hot so we waited a bit to eat. Seating is a bit tight, and there was a little wait before we got seated.
