Full home renovation/Addition We were introduced to Shane/Adcor from neighbours who had work done and highly recommended them. When we first met Shane we were impressed by his professionalism and general comfort level he had with all projects. The scope of our project was quite large, initially we were going to add on an addition to accommodate our 3 children. Once we realized we would have to leave our home for 6 months as the scope of the project developed, we also decided to renovate the other half of our home. There was literally nothing in our home that hasn't been redone. So Adcor literally guided us thru the design stage, permits, general construction and finishing. We thoroughly enjoyed having Shane/Rowan and the Adcor team work on our home for as long as they did. They always consulted us on the details, to make informed choices, they always gave us accurate estimates of the work, they always cleaned up after each day, and they finished the work in the scheduled time frame as they said they would. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, which is always expected, but these were handled very professionally and honestly. We were so happy with the work that was done, we had them come back and refinish/convert our garage into our home gym a few months later! We are fully satisfied and impressed with the work of Adcor. I hired Adcor in 2022 to repair water damage in my house and create a legal basement apartment. Their workmanship and carpentry skills are impressive, and the end result met my expectations. Shane is knowledgeable and insightful, while Rowan has been an invaluable anchor throughout the project as the manager. I especially appreciate Rowan's brilliant design in placing the main door, window, and closet, which significantly enhanced the basement's appeal. His diligent collaboration with the engineer on designing and constructing the new lower roof was also commendable. I am very pleased with the insulation work done on the roof and walkout basement. Additionally, I appreciate their assistance in preparing the paperwork required to secure the energy retrofit rebate. Duncan and the rest of the crew have consistently been helpful, pleasant, and professional. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail on the bathroom tiles were exceptional. Despite encountering some challenges during the project, their team ultimately delivered a successful outcome. I highly value their skills and would definitely recommend them to others!

Adcor was recommended to us by a neighbour, and we hired them to undertake some structural repairs to an 1880s dwelling after an engineer's inspection and report. From the start, I was impressed at the care, attention and professionalism of the entire Adcor team. Shane attended very promptly to provide an initial assessment, and then Rowan ensured that work began very shortly thereafter. The work was finished on time and on budget, by professional workers who followed the engineer's plan to a tee. Adcor liaised with the City of Ottawa throughout the building permit process, which was a relief. I was especially impressed that Adcor pointed out that I had my misunderstood one element of the engineer's report. Work that I thought was required was not necessary. Adcor confirmed this with the engineer, and then reduced the price of the project accordingly after work had already started. The candor and integrity did not go unnoticed. I would highly recommend Adcor to anyone seeking to undertake renovations or repairs to their home. When the need arises for us (as it inevitably will), they will be my first call.
