My laptop was repaired very quickly and also benefited from a support program installed on it. And the cost surpassed my expectations, it was beyond reasonable! Allen Computer Services Review I had a problem with my laptop for several months, which involved device security - a yellow warning triangle caused by the 'memory integrity' being OFF...and it would not switch ON. Memory integrity prevents attacks when malicious code is inserted into high -security processes. Another warning stated, ‘you may be vulnerable’. This went on for several months. HP solution was to put the laptop back to factory settings. However, the problem was in Windows 11, not the hardware. A few days ago, my lap-top was playing up and then I lost the use of 2 ext hard drives. One had over 35,000 photos alone, including family & holiday pictures spanning 5 decades (+ 10s of thousands of other important files). The other drive was acting as a backup. The experience was absolutely gutting. I was recommended Allen Computer Services by a friend but couldn't imagine much being saved. However, I took it in to ACS and spoke to Tom. He listened to me & then explained to me what they could do, which was reassuring. He also telephoned me and kept me informed with fairly positive updates, which I found uplifting. Later he reported that things were looking good, and that all the directories were all visible and the photographs that he’d opened all seemed to be OK. The yellow warning triangle had disappeared due to the system integrity scan that they did, which fixed all corruptions and by installing the latest drivers from HP. They also carried out disc repair on the main ext. hard drive. Not only that, they backed up 500GB of my data on their system for a week, until I get it on a cloud. This was all done expertly, in a very calm and good-humoured way. The whole thing took about 24 hours. I was only without my lap-top for a day, or there abouts. To see all the family photographs in pristine condition again, I went from deep depression to being up in the stratosphere. My lap-top now works perfectly, and I’m not on tenterhooks, anticipating a security breach. My ext. hard drives work perfectly. The entire bill didn’t even go into 3 figures. Astonishing! Completely rebuilt my gaming desktop PC from the ground up, really brought it back to life. They also fixed a stuck 100% cpu problem I had been having on my laptop. Repasted the cpu and gpu gave it a clean and its like new again. Great place to go for help and the prices are much cheaper than elsewhere. Glad we have a shop like this on our doorstep!

Fantastic customer service, nothing was too much trouble and everything was explained. I had regular phone calls to update me on the progress of work on my laptop, and they even did the updates and put anti virus protection on for me (as mine had run out) we highly recommend Allen Computer Services.
