My room was dated but clean. It was very quiet which was great. Only issue is that my room didn’t have any heat or hot water so I was freezing all night long and couldn’t shower for my meeting. I ran the water for 5 min and it slowly warmed up but never got beyond Luke warm. I called the front desk but it was too late to get anyone to come fix it and I was never offered a different room or refund. They offered me extra blankets but I didn’t feel safe walking outside at almost midnight to the front of the hotel to get them. Only one person is available at the front desk at night so she couldn’t leave to bring them to me either. I didn’t sleep well.

I used to stay here ages ago when it was a Residence Inn and very nice. It’s depressing to see how decrepit the place is now. Outside, everywhere you look is something broken, rusted or rotting. Where there used to be lawns, now there’s just weeds and dirt. Inside is really uneven: beautiful kitchen appliances, plates, glassware, etc., with cabinets so sticky you don’t even want to touch them. Furniture not particularly comfortable, and not enough of it - there seemed to be things missing. Beautiful tub enclosure with cracked floor tiles in the bathroom. Doors that are broken or won’t open or close properly. Beautiful pool area with no towels and a deck so filthy you don’t want to walk on it. Beautiful exercise equipment in a room so dark and dilapidated that it’s scary to go into. I feel sorry for the people working here, who are probably trying their best with minimal or no resources for support. Breakfast was adequate but we’ve had better elsewhere. Location is perfect for us but it would take a major rejuvenation of this place for us to want to stay here ever again.

Nice motel. Spacious suite that comfortable fits our 6 person family. The pool is very nice and the breakfast/lobby area is very spacious....the breakfast selection is very good as well. The room could use a little work. TV that didn't work, broken outlets....normal motel stuff. Overall for the price of the stay, the free (pretty quality) breakfast and good pool, I would recommend this place. Quick callout to Maria!!! Breakfast was always enjoyable. Maria worked hard with a great spirit.

As we were flying into Providence yesterday and reading some horrific reviews on this and other sites, I had buyers remorse! Smokey, old, broken, etc. were the words used to describe this place. I was a bit intimidated. Yet, reality was something different. ||We arrived to what was a Marriott Residence Inn in a prior life; one that has separate buildings. Old style. ||The gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful as we needed a first floor room. We had a nice chat during the registration.||As for the room. Let's be clear, you aren't booking at the Ritz. Styles are a bit aged and there is some wear, especially on the ceramic tiles in the kitchen. Walls had minor scuff marks. ||The rooms had zero smoke smell. Zero. The entire property is non-smoking so not sure where those comments came from. Our room was well cleaned and neat. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The TV had a ton of channels. ||There was a couch and chair as well as kitchen table. Bath towels were fluffy and very white.||Trust me, I've written some scathing reviews where warranted but this one doesn't deserve it. I have stayed and paid for much more plush and new properties and definitely a ton of places not as nice. ||This is a decent hotel at a decent price. It is sort of out of the way but still within a mile to the airport and tons of restaurants. ||Give it a try for yourself. For a budget property, four stars
