This review is years passed due. Alpha Electrical has been my family's go to for all electrical since 2014. There is NOTHING John and his team can't do, as proven by the work done in our previous home (built in 1963) - from wiring up a smart thermostat in the finished upstairs when the Telus security tech said it couldn't be done - to running all new wire, installing outlets and light fixtures in our unfinished basement. John is not only a master electrician, but a well-rounded handy man that takes pride in his work.

Power went off after hours on a Thursday evening, called Epcor and confirmed there was no outage. Called Alpha and was attended to within the hour. John provided a quick and thorough diagnosis of the issue I had (lost power, entire home) and provided insight into why it happened and how we could fix it. A true professional, he took the time to walk me through potential causes and what the implications would be for each. Eventually he found the cause of the outage, and luckily enough he was able to fix it. John explained to me exactly what the problem was, how he fixed it, why it happened to begin with, and the best way for me to proceed for monitoring the situation moving forward. Alpha’s phone number is now saved in the contacts in my phone, if/when I need any electrical maintenance or installation work done they will be my first call. Thank you!
