We stayed for one night before a flight from Bristol airport which is about 9 miles away. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size and the beds were really comfortable. The shower was big and powerful. The room was slightly on the hot side with no air conditioning so this was a bit uncomfortable. The food was delicious, but the wait was slightly long at just under 40 minutes our booking was at 5.30pm. Meal cost was £87 for 4 people with drinks and desserts. We had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Looking at their website online menu and knowing the restaurant had changed hands a few months ago we had high hopes for a fairly priced good meal. There were 5 of us. The one star is for our server, who could not be faulted. |The service from the kitchen was way too slow throughout. It was not crowded. The menu didn't match the online one, same or similar items but way pricier. We ordered a variety of starters, mains, desserts and drinks.|Everything we had was edible, non of it good cooking. The steak was cold, the chilli a pitifully tiny portion, everything was bland. I could criticize every dish we had whether it be portion size, presentation, taste or price.|The final letdown was ordering an item from the dessert menu to find it was not available, something we should have been told at the outset.|We had ten quid knocked off the bill as we complained about the steak, chilli and unavailable dessert. It was still outrageously expensive for what we had. |I'm no great lover of brewers fayre, the previous owners, but they did much better food for half the price. |We won't be back unless they start serving good food at a fair price.

What a lovely stay. Vicky made us feel very at home. Reasonable priced. Ex Premier Inn so very comfortable. Food is good. Beer is good. Great place for an overnight stay for the Airport. Vicky even put out salt for us as we were leaving very early on a frosty morning.

This hotel has recently changed hands and we were eager to see what changes had been made. The staff were lovely.. welcoming and attentive. I ordered the salad which was really good. Everything was freshly chopped with plenty of prawns. My partner ordered the "pie of the day" which was served with peas and mash. The pie was very very poor. My partner thought he might have found a piece of meat but it was a bit of mushroom. It was just a mush with only the few mushroom pieces and a bit of green that was recognisable. We were horrified to see that the pie dish was £17.50. There had been no details of what the pie contained.
