As a consultant, I recommended ALTIUS Graphics to design, print and install vinyl decals on a client's new boat. Overall, I am very careful recommending solution providers to clients, since their work often reflects on me (i.e., "No one got fired for hiring IBM"). Plus, this client had just purchased the boat and was highly concerned that any printing and installation would be perfect. From the very first call, Sid, the owner of the company, worked directly with me. He is especially knowledgeable and competent in his industry; and provides excellent customer service. The price was extremely competitive (less than half of another quotation!). Without charge, he provided a preliminary mockups, which were excellent! Plus, the boat was 80 miles from Houston, and price for traveling the extra distance was nominal. Further, ALTIUS Graphics worked within a very constrained schedule for installation and was willing to reschedule installation a couple times because my client's demanding travel schedule. Overall, this was an especially difficult job because their were numerous different colored graphics, some of which were up to 17 feet long. The preliminary work was great, and Sid kept me apprised of the entire process. Furthermore, because the initial printing had a slight defect, Sid reordered the materials and reprinted them again at his own expense, rather than make due with the slight issue, which perhaps with most solution provides would have been okay. As far as installation, their installer installed all the vinyl decals while they boat was in the boathouse on the lift, which is highly difficult. ALTIUS has a special proprietary vinyl wrap, where they can move the graphics around prior to adhesion. Without this, it would have been nearly impossible. The installation went perfect, although one vinyl decal was slightly lower on one side. Although my client would have accepted the work (it looked great), I am a perfectionist and could tell it would bother me just knowing (I'm pretty sure, no one looking at the boat would have noticed); but I strive to treat other people, such as my clients, as I'd want to be treated. I mentioned this to Sid, and he was more than happy to reprint and reinstalled the graphic without charge. Today, the boat looks perfect!! My client, who is both a long-term, excellent customer and a good friend of mine, is extremely happy with ALTIUS Graphics' work and my recommendation. I would highly recommend ALTIUS Graphics to anyone needing any boat graphics. And I presume they provide as excellent, meticulous and professional (and superb customer service) work regarding all other services ALTIUS provides (e.g., business signage, window graphics/frosted lettering, wall graphics, murals, trade show exhibits, banners, etc.). If there were 10 stars, that's what Sid and his company would have received. Scott Bayless
