I have been taking my dog to Melissa now for over 5 years and she never disappoints! Buddy wags his tail and is so excited to see her every single time! Melissa is very knowledgeable with animals and will suggest and recommend proper care routines and mention any concerns that she finds during examination. This past visit she found a tick and was able to fully remove it and even double bagged it for me to show to the vet! I have nothing but amazing things to say about the quality of service and care my big boy has received with each visit. We call her the dog whisperer! Thank you so much Melissa for the cute bows & bandanas you spoil him with and the amazing job you do each and every time with our sweet boy. I brought my labradoodle in for a groom, a first time at PrimElla, and I would certainly bring him back. When I went to pick him up, he seemed calmer than his usual “get me outta here” type behaviour which means a lot to me! Not having him in a crate or having any other pets around helped him feel more comfortable and at ease. I would certainly bring Hank back. Melissa is great. She groomed him as I had requested and she was friendly. Def a great experience for both Hank and I. Thank you much!!!

I was looking for a new groomer for my rescue dog Miles (who is very, very difficult about grooming) and tried this new place that just opened in the area. I got a quick response to my e-mailed request for an appointment. I was given the option to fill out the information form online which saved time when dropping off Miles. I was given the choice to get a reminder via text or e-mail which was very convenient. The confirmation e-mail I got included the person's name who would be taking care of Miles, which was a nice touch. The whole process to book the appointment was easy, and handled professionally. Miles is especially sensitive about his face, and previous groomers were not able to trim it. They mentioned when I dropped him off that they might adjust the price if there were parts of him they couldn't do--I wasn't expecting this since if they couldn't do his face, it wouldn't have been their fault. But of course I appreciate that they offered this! It didn't matter anyway because they completed the full groom, including the fur on his face, and trimmed him according to how I wanted it done. He's always shown some signs of anxiety after a grooming appointment but today he was calm and not acting anxiously. PrimElla are great with dogs, even the difficult ones. The price was on the lower end of the spectrum of what most places charge for the same service. As a bonus, they gave a couple of treats (which Miles loved), and a Halloween-themed bandana. Great attention to detail for the grooming itself along with the friendly and professional customer service. I will, of course, be bringing Miles back here the next time he needs an appointment, and I very highly recommend PrimElla. Thank you for the great experience today!
