I recommend American Academy of Aesthetics to anyone looking to relax. I had a face facial and a back facial done and it was the most relaxing moment I had in a long time. My skin feels so smooth. Take time to yourself and pay them a visit.

I had the best experience especially with Katie Dix as my teacher. She was very supportive and helpful with helping me study for my state board exam. All the girls there were down to earth and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend coming to this school for esthetics.. especially if you want to pass your exam.

There is a reason this school is cheap compared to others. If I could go back I’d invest more for my future. I wouldn’t recommend going here, but if you do I wish you a far different experience than mine. I was mostly self taught here. When I started I should have known it was going to be crazy. My instructor was just hired and in the first few weeks the other instructor was fired. When I went to tour the school, the owner made statements of advanced classes being included for current students and then denied such claims even after all the students agreed that she had made the same statements to them. There were MANY faulty modalities. Steamers would spit extremely hot water on PAYING clients and ourselves. We didn’t receive our professional skinscript kits until weeks before graduation. Unfortunately, MANY hours were spent with nothing being taught. Near the end those hours turned to days. We’d be told to go into the practical room and practice facials, BUT you can’t use sheets or blankets because we were doing too much laundry. Waxing sticks were broken in half because the owner will complain about how many the students are using!!! I also had to bring my own gloves for the same reason. Also, many days there were products that were empty and not replenished. While I took my state exam early and got over a 90%, I was self taught and had to deal with a TON of drama. The only great thing this place had going for itself was smaller class size (which was my initial interest) and the instructor I had… Ms.Marissa. Unfortunately, the owner let her go. These 5 āļø reviews are a far from my experience.
