VERY Unprofessional and a TOTAL Waste of Time! SAM COOPER reached out to me as agent for insurance coverage, and they initially requested my loss run report for the last two months, which I provided. Then, they asked for the most recent one, and I sent that as well. After wasting my time, they suddenly told me they couldn’t provide coverage because I am insured through a broker. If that was the case, why not clarify upfront instead of making me go through unnecessary steps? This kind of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is frustrating. If you value your time and expect competence, I’d recommend looking elsewhere!

Honestly, ABI was just fine for me for a long time. I had the policy for almost a full year for 8 vehicles. The only complaint that I had up to the last month was that the day of the month that I got my statement and the direct withdrawal from my account was never consistent and varied from the first few days of the month all the way until the end of the next month. Hard to manage cash flow of a business when one of your largest expenses every month is hitting your account at the end of the month one month and beginning of the month the next. That was pretty small potatoes though. I finally decided to cancel when I started using Tint with Turo. Trying to cancel took a couple of days in itself to figure out after searching the website portal and calling customer service. I ended up calling multiple times after canceling to make sure my deposits for 8 vehicles ($800) would be refunded. I was reassured every time but somehow the refund processing was forgotten (they never forgot to charge me though) and I had to call AGAIN to get the refund processed. I made sure it was $800 and then a day later I get an email that my refund will be processed and is going to be $600. I'm sure this company has made tens of thousands off of keeping the "deposits" that customers pay upfront.

Please listen to the 1 star reviews. I’ve had this insurance for a year & they went completely down hill. Even Turo doesn’t list this company as useful anymore. They cancelled my policy without notice & there’s no dedicated representatives for your account anymore. So they have essentially left “customer service” up to emails only. And your email will not be answered until it’s way too late. Save yourself the headache.

Absolutely the worst insurance EVER. I have a Turo business, fleet of 20 cars. You can't get ABI to update the DMV. You have to wait until the DMV sends you a warning letter, then open a ticket and hope they take care of it. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I've had 8 registrations suspended. They fixed 6 of those but I can't get anyone to fix the last 2. I call, and email, over and over. Nothing. Stay away.
