Never work with these people. Noah Prater was the No show supervisor and Shane Hastings backed everything he and his office Manager Jody Hayes did. She NEVER followed up on promises made, couldn’t understand I was building a custom home and not one they thru together. They didn’t follow the custom plans that their architect Drew up, I’m missing the 3 front steps the garage was to be dropped by 2 feet so the room above the garage would be right, in one corner of our trey ceiling we a shelf where the frame didn’t frame the walls right. Now I have to have custom shower doors, bedroom doors made. We don’t have doors on 2 of our bathrooms because the framing was wrong. The upstairs was built with 2x6’s instead of 2x8’s and there is so many other things.

We moved into our newly built home by American Home Constructors in the Stag Horn development in August of 2024. We were living in Arizona at the time, and a local friend communicated our needs and wants to Shane and Noah, and then coordinated the building with them as well. As a person of short stature, specific modifications were required in the kitchen, master bath, and entry. These were carried out to perfection without them ever meeting me until we arrived for the closing. Their attention to detail plus their desire to build the perfect home for my husband and I was incredible. As with any newly constructed home, there’re always issues that arise. However, we have had very few problems, and those we did have were minor in nature, and promptly addressed. Everyone at American Home Constructors cares about the quality of their work and are proud of the homes they create. In the process they want their clients to be happy in their new home. I highly recommend these builders. Thank you Shane, Noah, and Jody for your commitment to excellence.

We bought a new home at Fieldstone a few months ago. We had a few things that we needed to have done. We contacted Jody and she sent Shane and Noah out to see what needed repairing. The air conditioner needed tweaking. They were there that same day and fixed it. The few things we needed done on the inside was some trim work touchup and spindle placement. They got in touch with the repair people and they came quickly to do the repairs. We couldn’t ask for any better people to work with. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a 55 + townhouse they are the ones to talk too.

We've lived in our home for over a year now, and we couldn't be more pleased with the craftsmanship and quality. The team at AHC has always been responsive and great to work with. We have been especially impressed by how helpful Noah Prater was at every step of the process. Shane and he even helped us deal with an unresponsive fence company when we made an off-hand comment about it during a visit. They didn't have to do that, and we'd probably still be waiting on a fence if they hadn't stepped in. They've earned all five stars in my book!
