⚠️ Very unsafe driver ⚠️ Around 7:30 a.m. at O’Hare, I saw an AmericanTaxi.com driver in a black Lexus ES 250 (plate 34481Y, car #3526) driving recklessly after dropping off a passenger. He drove on the shoulder, sped up dangerously, almost hit two cars, and even ran red lights while leaving. This is unacceptable behavior for someone representing a taxi company. Passengers and other drivers deserve to feel safe on the road.

I didn't think there were any taxi services around anymore, but this has to stop, hiring foreigners to pickup residents and they barely know how to drive. I spent 10 mins behind a man in a van#8419 kept hitting the break on the guy behind him, he then switched over to my lane and did it to me. Clearly he wasn't paying attention and was sight seeing instead, he had a passenger in his van also!!!! Please hire better drivers!!!!

I booked two rides, both several weeks in advance. The first ride, the company cancelled half an hour out but immediately called and fixed the issue. I was a little worried, but wrote it off. My second ride was coming from the airport at night. They assigned me two cabs. One they immediately canceled, and the other was after I called the company, seeing they rebooked the wrong the type of car. The entire time (both times) the app was glitching, and now I am stuck at the airport at 11 at night and still have not received a new taxi assignment. We are renting a car.

Called for a cab a week early. No one showed up . The app said 15 min delay . Got another email additional 15 delay. Still no show. Called american stated they were short drivers 15 more min. Then got email that order was cancelled. Luckily neighbor got me to destination on time. Of course I'll never use American again !!
