Excellent place to stay. Staff was top notch and very accommodating. Room was clean, AC unit was brand new via a wall thermostat and worked extremely well! Beds perfectly comfortable. The tunnel to the casino was excellent. We don't gamble but having access to 24/7 restaurants and entertainment was wonderfully convenient! Highly recommend.

Just be aware that at check-in you will be charged a 30% incidental fee up front and if you happen to get the same registration person I did, they will not mention this when assigning your room. I happen to look at the receipt and noticed the up charge. I am well aware when at other hotels of being asked ahead of time if I prefer to use the charge I provided but apparently at this location in Council Bluffs they don't inform. When I went back(within 10 mins) to inquire about the charge the person could hardly look up from her coloring to answer. On checkout I had a different person. My receipt stated the original amount I had pre paid and when I inquired about receiving the refund for the 30% incidental fee I was told it would go back to my charge. Two days later I am still waiting. We had booked a river view king suite overlooking the Missouri River. The room was very nice and large. In the future I can't say I would book the 'river view' again but having the extra room was very nice and it was clean as well as the bed was very comfortable. The room had a nice sitting area and a nice beverage bar area with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. We were very happy with the room .|This stop was only for a night as we were passing though from Rapid City to St Louis. It was nice being connected to the casino and having the variety of restaurants to dine as well as the casino if you choose to gamble.|As for the breakfast....the selections didn't appear very appetizing. Maybe because it was crowded and the area looked messy. The main selections of eggs and potatoes had no cover. I didn't notice a lot of variety. I did see a selection of fresh fruit which was nice. We choose to grab a breakfast sandwich while on the road.

They made sure the pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. They were checking water balance while were at the pool. The Shuttle service was great and very convenient. They were busy but maintained great service. I would rather be in a nice clean busy hotel than an empty dirty one. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. This is a no frills hotel that offers good essentials and amenities. Our room was clean and always serviced. The complimentary breakfast is nothing fancy but I was glad it was there and did use it most of the time. They had complimentary toiletries available at the front desk when we forgot something. The shuttle was helpful for free airport and zoo access. The casino attachment is a fun option for ambiance (even if gambling isn’t your thing). Most of all, the staff (primarily front desk folks) were friendly and very accommodating of our large groups/families that were all in town for a wedding.
