My mother was admitted from August 12 to September 4, 2025 to AMG Specialty Hospital in Crown Point for recovery from a blood infection. She is completely ambulatory. The care she received was outstanding. The facility was immaculate and smelled freshly cleaned every day I visited, no matter the hour. My mother also remarked on how thoroughly her room was cleaned daily. The staff—case managers, doctors, physical therapists, nurses, aides, receptionists, maintenance staff and others—were so compassionate, attentive, and constantly checked on her comfort while helping her regain strength. Thanks to their dedication, mom was able to transfer to a skilled nursing facility in much better health. I highly recommend AMG Specialty Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness.

The staff is very caring and observant. My godfather received some of the best care at this facility. The nurses whom worked with him were very knowledgeable. Nurse Rob and Travis and Ms Lillie were the best working with him. I found a lot of comfort knowing he was in good hands. I would recommend this facility over and over. Thank you for making the family at ease during the last days he had with us!

I want to thank everyone at AMG Hospital for everything they did for my family. Everyone treated us with respect and dignity. When we would stay with our Mother they fed us and offered anything extra they could. Everyone smiled when they would come to talk to us. My Mother had wounds and they kept her comfortable and clean. The wound care nurse was so helpful and would check on her several times a day. The facility was clean and we were allowed to visit as often as needed. The therapy folks were able to get her moving again and we were overwhelmed with all they were able to do. I was a little worried about having to be transferred at first but those worries were soon gone after we were able to meet with everyone. Being in a hospital is never fun, but if you have to be hospitalized AMG is who we recommend. We were so blessed to have a place like this so close to us. Thank you to everyone at AMG Hospital
