This is a great place to stop, stretch your legs, drain your bladder, and get lots of things to refill it!! It is an Amish Store, but it's also the Iowa Welcome Center. The restrooms have alway been clean every time we've stopped in. There are LOTS of products to purchase, a lot of which are produced locally. There's even a deli / restaurant on-site to get a good meal if you'd like. Over the years I've gotten popcorn kernels, various cheeses, bread, and butter, and I've never been disappointed by any of it.

This is the third time that I've been to this store and I absolutely love it! The people who work there are so delightful and the store is organized beautifully. Of course I had to buy some more jam because It is delicious. This time I bought a basket that was handcrafted by an Amish family. I love that they signed the bottom of the basket. I appreciate that there was a bit of a bio about the family.

I entered Iowa from Missouri along Highway 35, and this was the first welcome center in southern Iowa. Inside, there's a shop and a restaurant; it can meet all your travel needs.

If you’re ever passing through Lamoni, Iowa, do yourself a favor and stop by the Amish store, it’s a hidden gem! The first thing that caught my eye was their huge selection of jellies and jams, everything from classics like strawberry and raspberry to more unique flavors you won’t find at your average grocery store. You can tell everything is made with care and tradition. And don’t even get me started on the baked goods… fresh bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, straight out of the oven and absolutely delicious. You can taste the difference. The store has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff are always kind and helpful. A must visit if you’re in the area!
