Ancestral Companions Dog Training

Josh really helped our family understand how to properly be consistent with training our dogs successfully. He also helped my dogs build their confidence especially with one of them who was scared of loud noises. Highly recommend!

Having a training session with Juan was incredibly inspiring and eye-opening. Within minutes, Juan had a clear understanding of our dogs’ personalities and behavior issues. We learned some very helpful things about how to help our dogs be less reactive and have more impulse control. After just a day of implementing Juan’s advice, we are seeing improvements. Highly recommend ancestral companions! I had already gone through 3 1/2 months of training with another company and saw a little bit of results with my dog, but then switched over and after just a few weeks at ancestral companions it was like night and day! We ended up going through both the basic and intermediate obedience course; the progress has been incredible. I feel confident with my dog’s ability to go into stores, be off leash, and stay calm in stressful environments. HUGE shoutout to Josh, the trainer that services the Merced/Atwater area, he has given me the skills to work with my dog and better understand his behaviors.
