Customer experiences
My sweet 13yr old pit bull was suffering with cancer, and when it was time to put him to sleep, I wrestled with where to take him. The staff at Animal Emergency Center of Tulsa, were so kind and reassuring. Caesarās last moments were filled with love and compassion, surrounded by our family. I wouldnāt chose another vet for my animal care. Thank you all so much.
My heart is overflowing with gratitude for this place and its staff. My dog had an emergency and was transferred here from Urgent Care to be admitted for treatment. He stayed overnight until the next afternoon. The staff (spanning multiple shifts) were ALL amazingly nice people and dang great at their jobs! I am so so so thankful they provide 24 hour emergency care for pets. I donāt know what I would have done without them. Even after discharging my little guy home, I realized I had another issue (large oversight on my part - not theirs), and called back. They immediately answered the phone and addressed the situation. No long holds or āWeāll call backā. I was worried and they were WONDERFUL! Also, it ended up being cheaper than I thought it would be. They provided a breakdown before doing complete care so I would know what to expect and to talk it over with them what was necessary and why. In my case, I felt it was ALL necessary, but this info is helpful in case itās something you can do cheaper with your vet. Iād give 10000000 stars if I could. Thank you!!! Little guy is napping under a blanket right now, but hereās a picture from about a week agošš¤š„°
They saved my boy and Brittany the night nurse was fantastic, BUT if we hadnāt had the money they would not have treated him. It was 150 in the first five minutes and then they came with the bill and it all had to be paid upfront before they would treat him. Luckily we had the money, but for those that would need a day or so to get the money they would not had treated my boy. And I was overcharged by 777 dollars which they happily refunded, but I could had lost my boy and they would had let that happen if I wasnāt able to pay all the upfront costs.
I see a lot of reviews on here about people complaining about the refusal of service due to the person not being able to afford the upfront cost and high prices. First off, yes it can be very expensive. If you dont have the money, its not their fault they cant cover the cost for your animal. For my rottweiler puppy it was over $4000 to save his life. Was it worth it? 100%. The staff here went above and beyond and my puppy is back to himself chewing my whole house up. Best staff ever.
