I absolutely love this place! I feel like they really care about my animals and they are so kind. My dog was there for his annual check up and even though he is super hyper at 2 years old they are very good at handling his excitement he's never afraid to go there! I had to put my cat down in 2024 and it was honestly a beautiful experience. I miss her still but I have that peaceful memory forever. Thank you!

Dr. Emi Hayashi took fantastic care of our dog and was very kind about working on a health plan and procedures that could accommodate our budget and reduce some of the vet trips. Vet expenses have gotten really high but Thrive is still more affordable than going to the emergency vet. Thrive has always been quick to fit us into their schedule, which is why we drive 45 minutes to this location. And it was a great relief when we suffered a bit of an emergency with our beloved small dog. He is now healing well and on track to make a full recovery, all because of Dr. Emi's and Dr. Matt's care and expertise. They do dwell on the side of caution in treatment, which I appreciate, and now our sweet boy is happy again.

I have been coming to multiple thrive locations for about a year now. I had previously went to thrive village station at Hoffman estates, Dr. Emi Hayashi was our vet and was always incredible to me and my pets. I now have followed her to the Elmhurst location and she has never failed to do less than an incredible job. She has amazing communication skills, is always so sweet and always gives us the best possible solution when it comes to my cats and she definitely is a cat whisperer. I recommend seeing her for your future visits.

My 18+yr. old best baby in the world wasn’t feeling good. Called the vet we’ve been with for at least 12+ yrs., was told “No openings for 2 more days. Seriously? No emergency time blocked, perhaps 30 min. a day. No empathy AT ALL, AdPark vets! Called Thrive and Dr. Emi saw my baby the next day! The outcome wasn’t good, however she and Amber were so awesome, I had to write this review. Dr. Emi explained everything, very patient with us and very loving to my baby. Amber was patient and very kind about costs associated with the visit. (And she has cool hair!) I would refer these lovely people to everyone who loves their pets. I am writing this one week after and still get emotional when I think about their caring ways.
