My business, Glam Cam KC, recently participated in a Bridal Event at VIP Special Event Space, showcasing one of our photo booths. The venue is lovely and has an elegant look. They had the perfect spot for the photo booth with a gorgeous greenery wall backdrop. The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and friendly. I have already recommended this venue to some of my clients and am confident they will be treated professionally and have a perfect event.
We used this venue for our reception this past weekend! Brittany was so helpful and answered any questions we had through the whole process. Austin was our day of coordinator and I cannot say enough good things about this sweet soul! She was an absolute must have and a life saver , checking on us all night and making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was clean, very well kept AND affordable!! I would absolutely recommend this venue and whole crew to anyone and everyone.
My husband reserved VIP for my retirement party earlier this year. Brittany put together a beautiful setting with flowers and balloons, and we had great communication prior about colors, decorations, tables, etc. Plenty of space for a DJ or band, we booked a band. We invited 130 people to our wedding, and ended up with a guest count of about 100. Our experience with VIP Special Events was amazing! They were the perfect size for our wedding, but might be a bit small closer to 150+ guests. We initially booked with them because they are so all-inclusive, and they do not require couples to pay a fee to use vendors outside of their preferred vendors. HOWEVER, there are SO MANY MORE reasons we booked with them. 1) Margaret will make centerpieces for you (just share your Pinterest board and meet with her so she'll know what you want), and you rent them at a small fee so you don't have to spend time making decorations that you'll never use again. 2) They provide the tables, chairs, and tablecloths at no extra cost. WORTH it!! 3) The space is BEAUTIFUL and in a great location- overlooking English Landing Park in Parkville. They even have a gorgeous deck overlooking the river and park! 4) Lovely "getting ready" spaces for the bride and groom. The bride's space even has its own bathroom- I was SUPER grateful for this during the reception when I didn't want to have to go in the public bathroom in my dress (brides, you know how difficult and awkward this can be). 5) AWESOME staff who seem to think of everything, and are really responsive if they haven't and you ask for something. Y'all, it's just a beautiful space at a MORE THAN BEAUTIFUL price for what you get. I can't recommend them enough!
