Annapolis Area Cab

Will never ride again, I’ve lived in Annapolis basically my whole life, never have I ever had a cab charge me $18 to go 4.2 miles. I asked the driver why the price was so much. Mind you me and him had a pleasant conversation I informed him I’m using the cab services to get to the car dealership because my engine blew last week and I’m getting a new car today. He told me it was because we went the longer way, the longer was is only 1.8 miles longer. I called an asked the lady the price per mile, she said 3 per mile, by my rough calculation without account for the .8 miles that should be $12 then when I said that she said oh it should be $4 per mile, which would still make my total only $16 but then she said some random fee was added. But only after I told her I only went 4.2 miles so that should be $12. She started to try and explain but I told her it was fine and hung up. Then man said he can charge me lower but I told him no because he insisted I pay $18 then said a Lyft or uber would’ve been more expensive. When in actuality a Lyft was $12.43 but knowing I was going such a short distance I decided to save money and go by a cab. I waited almost 30 minutes when a Lyft was cheaper & only 3 minutes away. Don’t use they will try to get over and when you catch it they will try any excuse to make it make sense. Most I’ve ever paid for a cab in my life

As someone who travels frequently (and rarely has the time to write a review), please know that this service is exceptional! I had an early morning flight out of BWI and the driver was prompt and courteous. As others have said, I can confirm - the car was very clean. I arrived at the airport as scheduled and on fare. I felt completely comfortable with the driver and will definitely use Annapolis Area Cab when I am next in town. I highly recommend this service to everyone!
