Great Gym. Though it's smaller than some, the environment is very welcoming. I especially like their policy of allowing members to use the equipment as long as they need, even during peak times. I like to use my phone to check my work emails and text friends in between sets, and the staff made sure that I understood that was A-Ok! Other gyms try to enforce rules about how long you can sit at a machine. It's very refreshing to find a gym that caters to the individual like that! Management at this location are super friendly and cater to regular customers. A pure pleasure!

It's a decent gym with friendly staff. The only issues that I'm having is their communications. I was not on their mailing list somehow and never got notice of their 6-8 week closure. They have since sent it to me, however, they also went ahead and charged my account even though I requested to freeze my membership. Updated Edit: Hi team! I appreciate the response. I have since found your communications in my spam folder (go figure). My apologies for not flagging that sooner. As for my gym freezing request, I was not made aware that this is the policy, and a manager had already acquiesced my request over email for a refund for the payment drafted on October 14, 2025 "...on Monday once [your] finance department is open...", and that a "A freeze confirmation email will be sent to you once your refund has been issued." I'll appreciate the team clearing up any misunderstanding in the email chain with the subject line: "Did not receive gym closure notice email and unknown billing charge". Thanks so much,

I'm not flexing (pardon the pun), but I've been a member at 2x fancy premium gym clubs in Vancouver and I've now been at Denman AF for 18 months - and can honestly say this is the best run, cleanest, consistent and most importantly, best little community space I've been in. Gets busy round the usual times, but it never feels intense and always welcoming. Great job AF Team 🙏

Love the staff here! They're always so friendly and I never have to wait for equipment. Can't wait to come back once the renovations are complete!
