Customer experiences

Extremely disappointed with the customer service experience today. Picked up six balloons for my nephew’s birthday party, and within an hour, three of them had already popped. When I called the store, I was told that because they were “outside character balloons,” I’d have to pay for the helium again. We also didn’t receive our bag with the order to which we paid for. I asked if they could make an exception and simply re-inflate three balloons as a courtesy, especially with the party about to start, but they refused. I then spoke with the manager, Maddie, whose customer service was equally disappointing. She reiterated that it was “company policy” and basically told us we were out of luck. After years of shopping here, this experience has left a really bad impression. We won’t be returning. A total waste of money and a very frustrating situation. Thank you for nothing.

The young guy that was there was a tremendous help. I told him what I wanted and not only did he get me the costume, he got all the accessories for me also. Otherwise, I would’ve been wandering up and down the aisles looking all over……

We don't live nearby but were in the area so popped in to look at costumes. I am so happy we did because we had a great experience with Karen today. She went above and beyond to help us and I would definitely go out of my way to come back to this location if she is the standard.

I went in on Saturday, June 21 to get my own balloons blown up. I called the day before to see if I could walk in on Saturday and the woman on the phone asked me to come right at store opening because they had tons of orders that day, so I did. The woman at the balloon desk (shorter, black shirt, wavy hair in pony tail) literally said to me, “I would have laughed at you if you came in any later.” She also said that my balloons were too small and couldn’t guarantee them and to “hurry up” and pick out new balloons off to the side. Totally fine about the size of the balloons and I understand that you’re busy, but paying customers are coming into your store for a service in which they are most likely excited about. A birthday, a graduation, a celebration with family. It really started my day off on the wrong foot and all because this employees attitude. If you are too busy to take my order, simply explain that. I will say the young ladies beside her were pleasant and could feel their coworkers animosity towards me. Customer service at this location is lacking and some personalities, like the woman I encountered, just aren’t a fit for the position.
