Just found out this location does women only lesson times every sunday. I went to try it to have more privacy and i loved it!!! I will go again love the women instructors they r so sweet and i love how they block any doors and windows. Keep it up! Maybe no kids under 13 so we can swim in peace other than that i love it🫶🏻

Great vibe. Excellent fitness instructors and programming. All ages and excellent parking and on bus route.

A very clean gym with friendly staff! Would highly recommend, the racquet ball courts are awesome as well as the different areas to work out whether you strength train or enjoy cardio.

I had such a great experience with Javin at the YMCA. I first met him at the Waterloo location when I was trying to figure out which programs would be best for my 2.5-year-old daughter. I honestly had no idea where to start, but he patiently walked me through everything. Moreover, he explained the packages in detail, showed me the Playcare room and the pool, and even suggested that, since I live in Kitchener, I might find the A.R. Kaufman YMCA more convenient. The very next day, I went to the Kaufman location to set up my daughter’s membership, and to my surprise, Javin was there too! Once again, he was super helpful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. What really stood out to me was his friendly personality, I mean, always smiling, approachable, and professional. It’s people like Javin who make the YMCA such a welcoming place for families.
