What a great evening. This place is absolutely a worthy experience. Alejandro is the perfect host. Great story telling, excellent food experience, lovely ambiance - exactly what someone is looking for! I went to the place with my 85 year old mom. She got treated like a queen. Nothing better than having your mom being treated like the most important person ever. Food is tasty. You can trust the recommendations from the respectful and competent service. We had a lovely evening I can recommend the place a 100 %

The restaurant has tables in the lane with umbrellas, heat lamps and blankets. It has a small but elegant ground floor dining room and a very large 2nd floor dining room. Service is professional, friendly and efficient. Printed menus in 6 different languages. The menu has many choices. The photos show the draft Super Bock beer, the olives (very good), The risotto Nero with squid rings and cuttlefish ink, a large and filling dish (€19) The octopus "a lagareiro" style served with potatoes and spinach (€26). Tender and tasty. Total bill was €60 which was very reasonable for the quality and good service by Sumita. The washrooms have very pleasant-smelling soap and have railings for wheelchair bound customers.

We couldn’t resist coming back to this amazing restaurant, and once again, it exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, Alex and Eunice made us feel incredibly special with their warm and welcoming hospitality. It truly felt like we were being treated as VIPs. This time, we tried the codfish carpaccio for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious — light, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A true culinary highlight! And of course, we couldn’t leave without having the passion fruit sangria again. It was just as unforgettable as the first time, bursting with real, fresh passion fruit. It’s rare to find such authentic passion fruit in Lisbon, but this place makes sure you get the real deal every time. The sangria alone is worth the visit! Our experience here has been consistently fabulous, and we’ve already decided that when we’re back in Lisbon, this will be our first stop. Highly recommended, truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had!
