While the community demonstrates genuine care for its residents, certain management practices raise concerns. Employees and caregivers often appear undervalued, with management displaying a lack of appreciation for their hard work. It's disheartening to see requests for residents to contribute additional funds via donations for employee bonuses, a practice that seems questionable. If you're considering employment with this community or seeking residency for a loved one, due diligence is recommended.

We've found Tuckahoe Pines to be a beautiful, safe community glad to be with one another! The staff are cheerful, helpful, and creative, and the amenities are great. The wonderful dining room, workout room, comfy theater, hair salon, craft room, and several lovely, dedicated spaces for playing games, reading, puzzles, and even a video game arcade offer something for everyone! TP provides many opportunities for residents to connect with others and is well worth exploring for older adults of all activity levels.

My husband & I looked at several places to find one that would be our retirement home. Tuckahoe Pines was the only one that we walked in and immediately felt at home. We love the staff, the atmosphere, the amenities, and the other residents. After 6 months of living at Tuckahoe Pines, we know we made a fabulous decision.

Worked there 8 months. I was maintenance. There is no way possible one man can handle that entire building. I was driving the bus. Doing all inspections turns and work orders by myself. Fixing people's tvs at least 6-8 a day. I walked in with 9 apts vacant that needed to be turned and painted. At least 3-4 move outs a month and was let go because I couldn't keep up. I've be in maintenance for 15yrs. Worked properties that where 1000 units and have never be accused of not keeping up but the work load for maintenance in this place. No one person could do it alone. Was let go because of it. Bad place to work....
