I’ve shopped at Armadillo since the early 1980s - incomparable selection of timeless high fashion business & casual women’s attire at discounted prices, within most working (& retired!) women’s budgets. Now retired, I concentrate on their very comfortable, casual and cruisewear selections - timeless designs tailored with the finest fabrics/textiles and designed for women who want the best their budgets permit. Over the years, I’ve introduced my friends (female & male looking for assistance with gifts) to Armadillo, whose continued shopping trips there attest to my recommendations. Fay gets to know her customers style/tastes, sizes and always provides personalized service by selecting potential garments - she’s very good, she remembers what you’ve purchased previously and has a very good eye; often she knows what I’m looking for before I do, Her suggestions are on the mark; she’ll also tell you when something doesn’t help you to look your best; never high pressure sales tactics. Fay & Lee know that my recommendations are sincere. I don’t accept shoddy, poor quality merchandise and don’t reward poor service; I let them know without hesitation! I also provide meaningful recommendations when I receive good and beyond service, promptly. Occasionally, when greeted with a negative, uncaring, dismissive attitude, I simply walk away - I let these fools stay stupid for everyone else to discover, they’ll go out of business wondering why! It’s not my job to educate them by giving them the opportunity to address their shortcomings. I’m retired, also retired as ‘General Manager of the Universe’ as a former business colleague said when I retired!
