Although I was referred to the clinic by a medical professional and my first assessment appointment was very promising (the second was the opposite), there are a few things that disappoint me about the place: So far, it is only a treatment that is offered including dry needling which I didn't find helpful and, actually, even a reverse from the results of my first treatment. I feel that it made the situation worse... After two appointments, the issue is not an inch better but feels even worse. I maybe should have refused this as there is only very scarce scientific evidence that supports dry needling as a therapy. But at least, this should not have made the matter worse... Another point is being rushed through the appointment. And as a matter of fact, the clinic offers 30 min for any follow up appointment which is half the time any other physiotherapy place would )at least the ones I went to before). My second appointment was less than 20 min even though it was a painful and very discomforting procedure. I found the time by far not adequate. The price: the clinic bills you for a 30 min appointment as much money as many other places would for almost double the time. I was repeatedly told that I am "healthy". As far as I know the clinic doesn't have any medical files on me nor any test results or similar. How do they know how healthy I am. It makes me feel not being taken seriously. Another big disappointment is that I am not given any plan or even well thought out advice on an actual physical training or exercise which should be a vital part of physical therapy. I am very surprised that even after I specifically asked for recommendations regarding the supporting exercise routine, I don't receive any yet, although I don't give up hope... Being ignored when asking for advice not only makes you feel helpless and frustrated as a patient, it is undermining any trust... Last but not least, they expect you to pay out of pocket rather than to bill your insurance. "Oh no, we don't bill your insurance!". My insurance is one of the few most widely used for employee benefits programs.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and was suffering for three weeks with no improvement. Angus said it is a common misdiagnosis and he explained what it was. Two sessions over three days and my foot is much better. Recommend you visit with someone who really knows his trade !

Angus is incredible. His wholistic and clear yet incredibly detailed approach to educating his clients, coupled with his desire to heal you and have you move on from needing treatment make him a 10/10 recco for me . Run (if you can), don't walk to get in to see him .

Kate Gladney is hands down the best Physiotherapist in Toronto. She’s kind, to the point, gives you advice that you can actually manage and stick with to improve any injury. Small but mighty, man can she fix a jammed foot or a squished back in 30 seconds flat. Well worth the visit.
