Thornton is a family started, family run business that roasts their own coffee beans. Because they do small batches, the beans are perfectly roasted, not burnt like so many other industrialized beans are. They have a small pickup window at this location. Nowhere to sit, but Central Beaverton is just a few blocks away. Their service and coffee more than make up for it. Go give it a try!

I’m been meaning to try this roaster for a long time but it’s all the way across town from me. I finally went this weekend to get some beans to bring home and naturally had to get a drink while we were there from the walk up window. I got a cortado, hubby got a shaken espresso. Both incredibly delicious (hubby said it was the best shaken espresso he’s had). But the real treat has been the coffee beans! So fresh, deliciously smooth and creamy, and so many options to choose from! It was hard to pick just two. We consider ourselves novice home baristas but they were by far some of the best shots we’ve pulled at home. We will definitely be trying more!

Stopped by to get something yummy to use for my morning espresso, and I was treated to a complimentary drip as well. The woman who helped me had great energy and was very friendly and helpful. And my coffee was delicious!

Such great coffee here! Their cappuccino is my favorite. Always super friendly at the walk-up window too. Rarely a line so you get your brew quickly and back in the road. They also carry high quality pasties and cookies (not Costco wrapped muffins like a lot of other places). They roast their own beans, and apparently they roast beans for a lot of other coffee shops. You can buy their beans to go.
