Years back, I was selling my house privately. Ashley contacted me to view the home and brought her clients by. Not even 15 minutes into them viewing, I get a text from her stating basically that "they're very interested and would be willing to pay XXX,XXX for it." I thought this was very unprofessional, not only making an informal offer that way but also offering 15% less than asking price. I politely declined and simply said to her that the offer was way less than what it was worth, and then sent her comparable properties for what they were offering. She followed up with " yea, I know, I am a realtor after all." Long story short - she thinks that since she took a weekend course, she is smarter than someone selling their own home. I ended up selling it for 98% of asking price. Turns out realty is pretty easy?

Ashley is amazing! Selling a condo and finding a house at the top of the market was not an easy task but Ashley was professional, patient, and beyond understanding every step of the way. Unfortunately I had the displeasure of working with Ashley while selling my cabin. The buyer wanted to hire and use a realtor, they chose to hire Ashley and everything got much more complicated, difficult, and more time consuming once Ashley got involved. She was sending incorrect paperwork to both parties. Talking to my lawyers without talking to me. Was very late on transferring funds. Just overall terrible experience. I'd definitely look for someone with more experience. It's clear she's just looking for a quick buck without doing any work herself.
