Met a business contact here for a coffee meet! I was impressed with the food on offers clearly high quality baked goods. The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere felt very welcoming. The owner is present and very nice, helped me pick out some coffee beans; Found out that they roast on site.... I couldn't be more impressed! Definitely a top go to spot now whenever I'm in London

This is a hidden gem of London. Nice and quiet and a clean place. The coffee is amazing with lots of option to choose from. The treats are pretty much perfect to go along side of a coffee. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Warm, Welcoming Café with Excellent Coffee – Just Not Turkish After a long drive into London, we were hoping to start our morning with a traditional Turkish coffee—not out of heritage, but simply preference, much like one might favor a cappuccino regardless of nationality. A quick Google search led us to this café, which appeared to offer it. Unfortunately, Turkish coffee wasn’t available, and while that was a letdown, it wasn’t the café’s fault. What the café did offer, however, was impressive. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful, going out of their way to suggest alternatives and accommodate dietary needs—including offering several options for the lactose intolerant, which was a much-appreciated bonus. We went with cappuccinos made from Rwandan beans, and while I’ve never seen cappuccinos served in such large cups before, they were surprisingly delicious—smooth, rich, and well-crafted. We also tried a lemon poppyseed cake and an almond croissant, both fresh and flavorful. The café had a vibrant, lively energy while still feeling comfortable and inviting. It may not have been one of the most memorable cafés we’ve visited, but it certainly left a positive impression. If I were in the area again, I’d be more than happy to stop by for another cup. I do apologize for not capturing better photos—we were in a bit of a rush and I just snapped a quick one. Hopefully, the words make up for what the pictures didn’t capture.

Asmara Coffee Shop had been on my list for a while, and I honestly regret not visiting sooner! The coffee here is absolutely incredible. I had a cortado made with a light roast espresso, and it was perfectly balanced—neither too tart nor too sweet, just a flawless harmony of flavors. The bright, nuanced notes of the light roast really stood out, making it one of the best cortados I’ve had. Their regular light roast coffee was equally amazing. Beyond the coffee, the atmosphere is simply top-notch. After a long day at work, we stopped by, sat down, and just soaked in the cozy vibe. It was the perfect place to unwind. We also had a great chat with the owner, who is incredibly friendly and passionate about the space. Even though we visited close to closing time, making it a quiet experience, the owner mentioned that mornings are a whole different vibe—filled with conversations and a sense of community. I can already tell this is going to be one of my go-to spots. As for the treats, the apple Danish was a standout, and the banana bread was another favorite. I’m already planning my next visit to try the scones and, of course, enjoy a few more cups of their amazing coffee. Highly recommend!
