I had good experience here. Appointment was at 3:00 am. Arrived 21:30 prior day. In 1:30 the man knocked in my door and gave me the door. Creeped to the door , most drivers did blind side backing , but you can go further and make a U turn. Perked in door, checked in in office. They started unloading immediately. At 3:20 got a call from office that I m good to go and I’m creeped back to the parking spot. They allowed overnight parking
I promise I will never ever be here again, and I if do, I will make sure the broker pays the price, period. 4 pallets for 10 complete hours!!! How many hours do you take to count 4 pallets? Let us say 30 minutes. add another 30 minutes for those lazy CAPSTONE employee to joke around. At most 1 hour in total. And by the way wherever you see THE CAPSTONE LUMPER COMPANY is hired, RUN AWAY. They are time killers as well as high lumper charges. What have they been doing for the rest of the 9 hours. THE PRICY SERVICES SHOULD BE A GOOD AND QUICK SERVICES. Truck drivers are donkeys. THEY ONLY KNOW To HOW GROWL ON TIKTOK specifically WHEN THEY ARE LOADED. What a waste of time!
Arrived at 11:40 p.m. for 3:00 a.m. appointment. Guard shack gives you a placard for the truck & a badge for your hi-vis vest. Go to staging and park, fill out paperwork and walk back to guard shack. Got some sleep 👍. Received door call at 2:50 a.m. Go to door 46 to check in, (to get to the docks take left out of staging go around the back of the white silo on right, under the Associated Wholesale Grocers" marquis down the side of the building take right to the docks) gave paperwork to receiving and then walk around to other side of building to Lumper service to give them their paperwork. Receiving signed bills and gave them back to keep. Open doors, brake seal, tandems all the way back & wait for AWG to call before you leave dock. In door by 3:27am. Started unloading me after about 10 minutes. 20 pallets of pop. Green light @ 4am. 4:03 am got call I was done and that I was clear to go back to staging until my hours reset👍. Didn't notice any available bathrooms though.
