Customer experiences
Wonderful experience! The dentist was very knowledgeable and all the staff were super kind and patient!
I have lived in the US for 17 years and moved from California 4 years ago. It was so hard to find a dentist in Colorado that was satisfactory in terms of skill and honest service. As far as I know, this place has been open in Denver for a long time. So it does not have a fancy and sophisticated interior, but the staff here has professional knowledge and experience, so they make honest and reasonable claims and provide sufficient explanations before treatment. Of course, Dr. Ahn's skill is also excellent. It is difficult to make an appointment because there are many patients right now, but I highly recommend visiting this place.
Dr. Ahn and his staff are beyond amazing! They are friendly, attentive, and always take care of my needs. They send appointment reminder text a week before the appointment date which is super convenient. Every single process from making appointments to getting treatments is super smooth and never been a hassle. Highly recommend!!
Moved my complaints up here for those that look at reviews: Three things that I absolutely disliked about Dr. Ahn. First thing I noticed was that he would ask us questions about the care, these questions should've been directed to my son, since he is the patient although I was there and could choose to answer them, he would answer them for us. He asked a question and then answer it himself with minimal input from us as if he had already made up his mind on what we were going to say, it made it seem like what we said didn't matter. He was talking TO us instead of WITH us about my sons care Second thing that I absolutely did not like was that he hurt my sons gums during him showing me (not my son) the amount of plaque my son had on his teeth using a very sharp dental pick to scrape against the top of my sons teeth near the gums, when he scraped, he did it carelessly and hurt my son and just kept going on with the demonstration, he didn't even apologize or show concern. If he didn't care to show some care then, how will he be down the road with bigger things especially when kids can be reluctant to say they are in pain? My son wont be coming back Third thing I noticed was that when he was giving us a plan of care, the options we were given weren't really options, they were more like set things. I wish we could've talked about more options instead of being told there is only one way to handle the cavities my son had, it seemed like he was in a hurry to get to his next patient I came to this dentist after seeing all the great reviews online for them. I was looking for a great dentist for my son to hopefully stay with him or her as our set dentist My experience from first contact: The person making the appointments was nice and she was courteous, efficient and to the point, she rescheduled my son twice at my request because things kept coming up, I did this a good bit of time before the appointments so it wouldn't disrupt their schedule. All good First time at the office and interaction with front desk: Nice office, good decor and they have a variety of magazines in the waiting room, there was still glass screens on the front desks that were used during covid which I appreciated because I still wear masks myself. The staff was nice and welcoming, I had my new patient intake form filled out beforehand so I gave that to them and they took care of that. It took less than 10 minutes for my son and I to be called back to the room we would see the dentist in First time with the dentist and dentist assistant: The assistant came in before the dentist, she did some x-rays on my son, told me to step out while that was done, all good, I dont believe my son had complaints on any of that, usually the apparatus they stick in your mouth to take the xrays hurts however it must have been ok because my son didnt complain.
