Customer experiences
The VA healthcare system and the civilian employees that work there needs a new overhaul and plan of action. They don’t seem to care about veterans, always complaining to veterans about their job, and have us feeling like we are bothering them by coming to get service. Today I stood in line to check in for an appointment and the civilian behind the counter would not check me in for my appointment saying the windows (people) don’t help veterans check in any longer. We have to stand in line to check in on a kiosk machine which has 6-7 people waiting while the clerks scrolling their phones and act like we the veterans are bothering them when asking for help. As a war veteran who fought in 3 wars to protect our country and members of it, it’s saddening the way we get treated just because people have more care for content on their phones than helping the veterans feel comfort in the VA care system
The people who work for this clinic, including the CRRC department has no interest in wanting to help veterans. Rude, demeaning, condescending, gaslighting behaviour, and hanging up the phone consistently. Something needs to change. Will follow up with official federal complaint through the VA.
Ft. Mac offers a lot of services to us veterans and dependents. I wished they had natural medicine doctors instead of the ones the only thing they're taught to do is issue pills for everything. They have excellent therapy services they saved me in my time of crisis!! Thank you, Dr. Williams and Ms. Barbara Smith, for my sanity, I couldn't have done it without either of you and your staff!!
This facility could be much better when Nurses and Nurses and coworkers can stop stop stop sharing their personal life experiences during office hours and during the (VETERANS) (PATIENTS)examination visits . All of the VA Clinics can stop over booking appointments. I have been to more than two VA Clinics and at least six patients had the same appointment time scheduled. It is so disappointing, disheartening, dishonest and disgusting. A lot of Veterans put their lives on the line for this country whom we love, our families and themselves. What do veterans have to do to get the correct treatment, the correct medical care on time every time. Perform your checks and balances. Right amount of doctors/nurse per patients.
Atlanta Men's Clinic is a medical clinic.
