I brought my case to Atlas last year - 2 Baltimore rental properties in which I was horribly upside down. They reviewed their process with me in detail via conference call because I do not live in MD. After the initial consultation with them, I wasn't ready to move forward. So I put the everything on hold. About 6 months later the situation with one of my houses changed. I reached back out to them, and not only did they remember my case pretty clearly, they had everything ready to move forward the very same day I called. They have a clear internal workflow in which specific people handle specific tasks. They always identified which person in their office was responsible for which task. This gave me confidence in their process, because I always felt like there was someone directly accountable for the next steps. Their top guy, Vladimir, reached out to me two different times throughout the process to make sure I was satisfied with the progress of my short sale (I was). He also personally thanked me at the end for allowing them to be my short sale agency. From my perspective, the whole process was much easier than I anticipated. But I have no idea what kind of tough negotiating Atlas had to do behind the scenes with my lender. I guess they are just so good at it that I never needed to get involved. I just sent in a bunch of documents, answered a few questions, and signed some papers along the way. In total I think the whole entire process took less than 90 days. Now that the sale is closed and that house is no longer a chain wrapped around my neck, I am working on repairing my credit score. Fortunately Atlas made the short sale happen so fast, that the negative impact to my score is pretty minimal. So I should be back to 700 in no time. Thank you Jenna, Shelbi, and Vlad - you guys knocked this one out of the park.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the group I worked with at Atlas. They were AMAZING! My mortgage company and my buyer presented many challenges but Jenna and Morgan were responsive, reliable and expedited everything they handled. I could not have been more pleased with my experience and honestly did not believe it would go this smoothly. Everyone I knew said that going through a short sale was stressful, long, tedious and difficult. Not with this group!!!! Professional, thorough, knowledgeable, helpful and empathetic are just a few words I can think of to describe Jenna and Morgan!!!!!

Atlas Home Group was amazing!!! I would give them 20 stars and the only company I would recommend with full confidence if you need help with a shortsale. My case was especially difficult because I lived out-of-state, 800 miles away and had 2 loans on my house to deal with. They assisted me with all the paperwork and answered all of my questions. The first lender released me without a problem, but the second lender kept making excuses why a decision hadn't been made. All the while, the second lender was in the process of selling my loan to a different lender, forcing me to start the entire process over with the first lender because by then the first lender's original release had expired. This was just one of the many many many obstacles that had to be worked through. The Atlas Home Group agents were very reassuring letting me know they would do everything possible to help me. Every agent that worked with me was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable in working through very difficult and complex issues. In all, the process that should have taken 2-3 months took an entire year, none of which was the fault of Atlas Home Group. They stuck with me through the entire process, communicating with the necessary parties sending me instructions and the proper documents needed to complete the shortsale. Finally, after almost being forced into foreclosure, the Atlas Home Group, with all of their hard work, called to let me know my home was finally sold. They stuck with me through to the end. I felt like they were truly my friends.

I was VERY hesitant when I started looking into short selling my home. Atlas sent me a packet of info and I immediately sent it to my lawyers to 'look over'. They got back to me and said it's straight forward and I should go with it. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I don't know how many people work at Atlas (it seems like alot), but the communication was fantastic. They would call and tell me they needed a certain document or picture and I would get it to them immediately. Everyone I talked to knew their job and how to get results. I am a skeptical person, but I'm telling you, if you're short selling your home, you can trust Atlas! They made me happy, they made the bank happy, they made the buyers happy! I can't say enough about this company! Thank you again SO MUCH!
