Attorney James V. Murray - Stillwater Lawyer

BAD "LAWYER" BEWARE! They have people throwing out false legal advice like its candy and tell you what they think you want to hear. James Murray is an old tired lawyer who doesn't want to even practice law anymore. He leaves this kaydee person in charge apparently and has given false legal advice to me and others who have gotten legal advice there. do not trust them, you are not speaking to a lawyer but they will certainly try to make you believe they are!

Do not hire this attorney based off of his reviews, as it is all fake. I hired this attorney based off if his reviews. It was not until after a few visits I soon realized he is unprofessional, untrustworthy, a fraud and a fake. The thousands of dollars I paid for him to represent me is now wasted, after he continuously accused me of incidents that were not part of my case. When in fact it was another one of his clients' cases, he was accusing me of and had in front of him and not mine. This attorney is unprepared for the work of an attorney, scatter brained, unprofessional, and will over charge you to include charge you for work he will claim he performed on your case but did not. Now this attorney is harassing me and trying to sue me for more money when he was fired in 2023. I have yet to receive an itemized bill to show the legitimacy of any charges. James V. Murray should not be an attorney as he will not represent you, he will accuse you of claims in cases of his other clients, will not apologize, and will not properly bill you. Do NOT use James V. Murray.

I had a criminal case and hired this firm. My case was personally handled by Thomas Swafford. He was extremely professional and helpful and took time out of his day several times to walk me through aspects of my case. I'm obviously not a lawyer and so there was much that I did not understand. Thomas wasn't just a "I'll see you at the courthouse and we can talk then" type of guy, he was always willing to answer questions for me as they arose. I certainly don't plan on catching any more cases but I would reccomend Thomas to anyone who finds themselves in need of an attorney.
