I went to the Aurora Home show this past weekend as I am a small business owner who was Considering getting a booth at the show. I bought my family with me as as the event was advertised for children as well. Well, I must express my complete disappointment, It was Very disorganized , and frankly boring. First of all there was too Many booths of the same service. How many roofing companies, and window company’s can you have at one event? Also more than half the event was hot tubs. The kids area had a clown that was screaming into a fuzzy microphone All i could hear is static mixed with screaming . I ddn’t find anything humorous with just it, it just hurt my ears. The few booths that I did want to speak to I couldn’t even hear. I had to grab a card and reconnect later. Also there was no options to eat at the show. There was one food truck selling burgers for $17. I didn’t feed my kids before i left as I figured we would all eat lunch there. Thank god the dry meat booth was there to sooth our kids until we left. It was definitely more a playground than a home show. I would not recommend.
