I don't usually give any business 5 stars but these guys provided an exceptional level of customer service. I brought in my Fiat 500 for repair and, not only did they send me videos of what needed repairing but also kept me fully informed at every stage as to any additional work that was required. This garage has now become my preferred garage for all future work. Very impressed!
A great garage who made a stressful process easy and was transparent throughout. Natalie and the team were helpful from the first call. They assisted in recovering my car from a main dealer and helped me navigate a confusing warranty agreement. They were quick to recognise the issue and fix the problem. Customer service is evidently key to their business and the fact that they contacted a week after fixing the problem to see if everything was alright, was a nice touch.
Absolute live savers I had booked in an AC Regas with another garage to be let down on the day I had a 5 hour road trip the next day during a heatwave so upon stress and constant googling I found MC Autos who said they would do the work same day I dropped the car off in 30 mins and they had the job done in an hour they are amazing and knew I was depurate to get it done they were not opportunistic with the price considering it was a last minute booked and on the same day during a heat wave they still charged me a reasonable price. 10/10 even offered a cold water while I waited. From the person who picked up the phone to the person who carried the work out they were all amazing and professional.
Excellent customer service and communication. However, and this may be unique to the fact that my car is an old American car, I have to say found the service to be quite expensive and several major mistakes were done. I took a car I just bought about a year ago knowing that many repairs were to be done. After 4.5 hours investigation (costing 100/hr plus VAT) and 4 mechanic hours (at 87.5/hr plus VAT), the ABS sensor and spark plus were changed, an engine oil leak was identified and the engine cooling system/HVAC was assessed (incorrectly). Took 3 hours for the mechanic to clean the engine, 1 hour of investigation to determine spark plugs need to be changed, 1 hour of investigation to visually inspect the engine and conclude that there is an oil leak and then another 1 hour after the engine cleaning to determine where the leak was from. An hour was spent investigating the cooling and HVAC system to determine there was no coolant in the vehicle and a possible leak. That report concluded there was no leak. However, as I was picking up the car, it seems the mechanic recalled last minute that the cooling fluid still had to be filled which was done right before I paid and left. Unfortunately for me and contrary to the report there was a leak in the cooling system which manifested shortly thereafter with copious amounts of smoke emanating from the hood. Had to have my car towed to another garage which immediately identified the leak in the cooling system. Another mistake was done by the garage when ordering a new window regulator. They ordered the wrong part and it didn't fit in the door. Since I took more than a month to rebook an appointment for its installation they could not return it, so I had to cover the cost for it, however they graciously agreed to not charge me for the wasted labor and agreed to install it if I was able to find one. The reporting is quite meticulous and provides a sense of professionalism and accountability. However in terms of value for your pounds there are better options.
