I called this trucking company because my children and I were almost t-boned when a truck pulled onto the road in front of their business and then pulled into the lot of BW Mitchum Trucking. My light was green, and I was in the turning lane, and the big truck had a yield light. He cut over two lanes and in front of a big truck that was behind me, and I had to slam on my breaks to prevent a collision on my side of the car, and I had my baby in the back seat driver’s side also. My older child commented how it hurt him when I slammed on my breaks. The big truck then stops and waves his hands out of the window when I blew my horn at him. He then turned into this place of business. I had the right of way, and this driver does not need to cut over two lanes when cars are coming. I called BW Mitchum the day it happened. I waited a few hours before calling because I was so upset. The receptionist said that they take safety very seriously, and it will be addressed. I left a message for that “safety manager.” I never received a phone call back about the incident. I called back today almost three weeks later, and she said that she didn’t see any evidence of the instance being their driver, even though the driver turned into their business. She said that she looked through a few hours of footage. My big issue is with transparency. I told the “safety manager” that it would have been courteous to at least call me back and tell me what she found after looking at footage, instead of not telling me and having me call back multiple times to check on the encounter. A simple phone call needed to be made because we almost died. I have never been so scared in my life after seeing an 18 wheeler coming within a few feet from my drivers side door. Please do better with customer service, transparency, and safety for the public. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

Bad bad relationship with employees very disrespectful to drivers. It’s 2022 and drivers restroom facilities is an outside portable toilet. Please show me equality in this behavior
