I’ve known Derek since our days working as barbers, and he’s been cutting my son’s hair and mine for years now. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the clippers. His attention to detail is truly the best, bar none!

šŸ’ˆ Great haircut, great barbershop Just walked out feeling like a brand‑new person. Clean fade, sharp lines, and Derek is a great stylist who listens. The shop has an easy vibe, good conversation, and real attention to detail… gotta give a little love to Leo too.

I can’t say enough good things about my barber, Derek. Every single haircut is consistently amazing—clean, sharp, and exactly what I want. But honestly, it’s more than just a haircut; the entire experience is top-tier. Derek is incredibly educated, professional, and knowledgeable. He truly listens to what you’re asking for and delivers every time. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and stays informed about techniques, styles, and hair care—not just going through the motions. And let’s be real—Derek is somewhat of a therapist, and a great one at that. He’s caring, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in you as a person. You’re never treated like ā€œjust another customer.ā€ He remembers details, offers thoughtful conversation, and creates an atmosphere where you actually enjoy being there. If you’re looking for a barber who is skilled, attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about his clients, Derek is the one. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for years, and the quality of the haircuts has consistently been good. The barbers are skilled, and I’ve never had an issue with the actual work being done. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has changed, and it’s become increasingly uncomfortable. The two female barbers are frequently engaged in loud, negative conversations about politics and religion while customers are present. In particular, the woman barber working in the middle station has made repeated derogatory remarks about christians and churchgoers, including stating that christians and preachers are all ā€œporn addicts,ā€ along with broad, hostile comments about republicans and other political groups. This type of talk is inappropriate for a professional workplace. Customers come into a barbershop to relax, unplug, and get a break from the constant political and social chaos in the world today, not to be subjected to divisive or inflammatory commentary while sitting in the chair. A business should be a neutral, welcoming space for everyone. For many years, this shop had a clearly posted rule stating ā€œNo Cussing, No Politics, No Religion.ā€ That rule existed for a reason and helped maintain a respectful environment. Apparently the shop was sold recently and that sign was removed and it appears those boundaries are no longer being enforced. Whoever is running the shop now needs to have a conversation with their employees and re-establish that long-standing standard. Even if customers happen to share similar beliefs, it should never be assumed that everyone wants to hear them. Employees should focus on cutting hair and providing a professional service, not venting about politics or religion. That used to be the golden rule in all workplaces, and it worked. If this behavior continues, I will take my business elsewhere to another local shop that maintains a professional, politics, and religion-free environment. I would prefer to continue supporting this business, but that depends on management addressing this issue and restoring the atmosphere that kept people coming back for years.
