I have had 2 appointments now. Both times the assistant/hygienists were very pleasant and concerned for my comfort. The receptionist is also very nice. She assisted me in adapting an appt without issue. Dentist was great explaining issues to me and plan of care. Completed a deep cleaning and love the results!

I actually went here twice, and the main positive thing i can say is that the nurses were very kind and attentive. No real complaints about them. However, the dentist himself was not so much. He caused me a lot of undue pain, and when I tried to express this he just pushed me down and kept going. The nurse even tried to express that I was in clear pain and went ignored. I also nearly choked more than once, and even with me struggling to breathe he wouldn't back off to let me recover. He insisted my insurance would not cover a crown and that I would have to pay out of pocket without checking (upon actually reading, my insurance would cover it) and when I expressed that I could not pay out of pocket for the crown he became agitated and irritable, repeatedly saying "Fine, I won't tell you what to do, but if you don't buy this then doing anything else for your teeth is useless." As for the quality of the work, the filling he gave me is uneven and had begun to chip before the day ended, and the tooth that he treated has pain that it did not have before the procedure. I can't chew properly on that side of my mouth, and am planning to go to another dentist to see if it can be rectified. All in all, it was a painful, stressful experience solely due to the actions of the dentist himself. I did not previously experience stress related to going to the dentist, but I certainly do now. Thank you to the nurses who tried their best, but I cannot recommend this place at all.

I’ve gone to this dentist for years and have never had an issue! Fast time in taking you and always explain to you which procedures are being done and why. They also work with your insurance. I have gone here for years and will continue to take my family here as it grows! 5/5 can’t think of any bad thing to say!

I’ve been coming here for the better part of a year. I’ve had two cleanings so far and also have had a permanent crown procedure done through them. The procedure for the crown was sort of complicated because of my dental history but they were still able to get me in and out in about an hour despite booking for a two hour appointment. They’ve been flexible with appointment setting even when I needed to push up an appointment by a month. They take my Kaiser insurance with no problem. I would recommend going here over going to a Kaiser owned dental place. I can’t vouch for the quality there, I assume it’s fine. But 5 STAR SMILES DENTISTRY is a local office employing people from the community and I can appreciate that. And they also do great work. Dr. Sy seems to be and excellent dentist and he even makes me laugh sometimes. Even the front desk people seem to have it all figured out.
