A firm who is not afraid to spend the time in the trenches fighting when injustices occur. Have found the attorneys and staff approachable and accessible even though I do not live near Ann Arbor, and they're available by phone, zoom and email. For me personally, when looking for people to do business with and represent me, it was important to find someone whose values are community-minded and looking out for common good. Having been a very passive person in my younger years who did not like conflict, I have to say that it's been nice to have someone else be my voice.
