Heronview is a fantastic resource for pet-owners interested in feeding raw foods. I had the pleasure of being helped by Brittany - her knowledge of foods, supplements, meal additions and treats is impressive. She gave me a clear view of how I can feed my pup each meal and even came out to the car to give her a loving greeting. I liked that I was given a information packet that clearly outlined the portions/weights, which blend of meat to feed at different meals and what to watch for with her bowel movements. My pup was recently affected with a bout of pancreatis and Brittany really helped to ease my mind, get her back on track with a creative, low-fat meal option that doesn't break the bank and on the road to feeling better. I am also *so* impressed with the store-front and all the in-house freeze-dried and dehydrated treats/chews Heronview offers. I was quick to buy a few bags of the Harvest Melody freeze-dried veggie mix - my pup LOVES them. If you are new to the raw-feeding game or want to get away from commercial raw "big brands", I seriously hope you check out Heronview and give your pet the best life possible.

In April 2024 my 9 year old golden retriever was diagnosed with kidney disease which was triggered by a positive Lyme infection. He was hospitalized for 3 days because his levels dropped and was on the verge of death. He was stabilized and sent home with a grim outlook. The vet recommended I take him off raw as he had protein urea and required a low protein diet. He was already a raw fed dog and I wasn't about to change that. However a good friend told me not all raw food is the same and recommend I switch to Heronview. I added several supplements and we slowly weaned him off the steroids. My friend told me to be patient as the body takes longer to heal with food. One year later and my soon to be 10 year old boy is doing great! All blood levels are within normal range! His platelets went from 26 to 340! He's energetic and playful and I have Heronview to thank!

This store has such an amazing variety of products and their prices can't be beat. I live 8 hours away from the store and would travel back just to visit this store and buy in bulk. If you feed your dog raw you definitely need to be shopping here. To the owner, you have an amazing store and your dog's are gorgeous, it really made my day seeing such a gorgeous dogs.
