I came to Sara with chronic, post-injury, lower back and thoracic back pain that had been plaguing me for the last year - the kind that turned me from an ultra-active individual (biking, gym, scuba diving, traveling) into a frustrated, sad, and hopeless friend of misery. My previous physical therapist was able to improve my walking a bit, but after a year of therapy, I was still unable to sit for longer than 2 minutes due to pain. I felt dejected. Then a miracle happened, and I found Sara. After just a few sessions, I'm walking up to 7000 steps/day, moving freer, and sitting for 37 mins!!!!! I’m now super excited about my recovery, and I will be back to my physically active self soon !!! My experience with Sara has been nothing short of transformative. What truly sets Sara apart is her innovative, cutting-edge approach. She doesn’t just rely on standard techniques; she blends traditional physical therapy with avant-garde methods that are both effective and deeply personalized. Her assessment is thorough, and she tailors every session to my specific needs, using exercises that target the root cause of my back pain. Her positive, vivid, healing aura is palpable—her genuine care, empathy, and belief in my recovery are contagious. It makes challenging exercises feel manageable and even comforting. It’s rare to find someone who radiates such a powerful sense of calm and compassion. And here’s the kicker— Sara has a wicked sense of humor! Her comedy show talent is an unexpected but invaluable asset. She uses dry wit, playful banter, singing, and genuine laughter to lighten the mood during intense sessions. :-). This makes the process so much more enjoyable. Laughter truly is the best medicine, and her ability to inject humor into the most difficult exercises reduces tension, boosts motivation, and makes recovery feel less like a chore and more like an engaging, fun journey. It’s a game-changer! Thanks to Sara, my back pain has significantly reduced, my mobility has improved dramatically, and I feel stronger and more resilient than I have in a year. Her unique combination of expertise, compassionate energy, and infectious humor creates an experience that’s truly unparalleled. Sara is a rockstar on the firmament of PT nation :-). Highly, highly recommended!!!!!

I had a torn labrum along with a rotator cuff injury that wasn’t heeling for 5 months. After getting a referral from my PCP, I found Sara on the Anthem Blue Cross listings—so happy to have found her. Incredibly knowledgeable, very inquisitive while she does her diagnosis, and she dynamically adapts your rehab as the heeling process unfolds. Without surgery, after 4+ months I’m very close to being able to get back to competitive tennis. When I started, I was having difficulty just tucking in my shirts—now my tennis serving speed is probably back up to about 80+ mph and ground strokes around 60+ mph ball speeds. Still improving, but I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Sara!
