I've stayed at this hotel three times in the last ten years or so. I always have high hopes, but it's consistently just okay. I believe the rooms have been updated, but the renovation feels half done - the carpets in the hallways and throughout the conference space are worn, stained and, in some cases, torn. As others have noted, the room temperatures can be inconsistent and hard to regulate, and I also had water pressure issues with one of the sinks in my room. The bedding isn't comfortable - with lumpy pillows, a rough sheet and thin waffle blanket. During this visit, I was in the West Tower on the 24th floor, which is just under the restaurant. Both nights around 11PM, I could hear chairs being dragged around, floors being swept, people walking around, etc. It was pretty loud while trying to go to sleep. All that said, there are a few highlights for me each time I stay: The public spaces are beautiful and the rotating restaurant on the 25th floor (Swizzle) is cool. The rooms are a good size, and I had a nice view of the river and city. The hotel's location is great for walking to major attractions, like Museum Row, Whiskey Row, KFC Yum! Center, etc. Overall, the hotel isn't terrible, but for the price and reputation, I keep hoping for better.

For a pretty generic guy, this was a fancy-schmancy adventure. Crossing the footbridge from one tower to the other felt downright special—like a red-carpet stroll for people whose tux is a clean polo. Room: Nothing spectacular, but no downsides either—clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want when the day’s real show is elsewhere. Amenities I Admired from Afar: There are bars, a spa, and a bunch of classy hideaways that looked incredible for those who can afford to live their best life. I waved at them like a tourist on a celebrity bus tour and kept walking. Conference Setup & Food (Star of the Stay): Conference rooms were great and the food was next-level fantastic. The chef and kitchen team deserve a standing ovation. Special shout-out to the cheesecake: it would have been the end of me if it were self-serve. Thankfully they plated it, or I’d still be there, “conducting research.” Service: Wait staff were super efficient—smooth, friendly, and on top of everything. Recognize these folks; they’re pros. Elevators (Hold My Badge, I’m Joyriding): These things move like they’ve got a grudge against gravity—felt like 100 mph, but smoother than most slow elevators I’ve ridden. Going down, you could hardly tell you were moving; stopping had such panache my pants stayed put. I genuinely considered riding up and down for fun. Bottom Line: A polished property with a memorable footbridge, conference excellence, and elevators that belong in a theme park. Rooms are solid, food is fabulous, staff is sharp. Would gladly return—especially for another round with that cheesecake (under supervision).

I don’t normally leave reviews but this warranted one due to how highly disappointing our stay was. The hotel smells great upon walking in. It’s like they’re pumping an upscale cologne throughout the building. It appears nice and upscale. Our room was 1508 in the west tower. The room had a great view however the room itself was below average. It was uncomfortably hot even though we set our room temp to 60. The bed had two thin sheets that felt like shower curtain material. I’m not exaggerating. No fitted sheet was on the mattress which was weird to me and it had no comforter. The shower did not work! The handle to turn the water on was broken. The handle to the toilet was broken and hanging there as well. The bed mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. I wish we would have booked a different hotel and we will never be back. For what they’re making per night at this hotel they ought to be keeping up with maintaining it.
