I had an incredible experience working with Nataliia Kalynych. From the very first conversation her warm, friendly demeanor and professional approach put me at ease. Getting a mortgage can be stressful but she walked us through the process and made us feel comfortable. She is pleasant to talk to and understands all situations. Today was the worst experience I have ever had visiting the Bloor West Branch in my entire life. I have booked an appointment with Lida Strembicky to open a new account and wanted to get a consultation for that a week ago. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I arrived half an hour before my appointment’s time and was patiently waiting for my appointment. I was expecting to get a consultation to become a member of BCU Financial, but unfortunately, Ms Lida decided that I am not qualified enough to join the credit union because of her prejudice against my residency. I don’t understand how she could make a decision just by asking me one question: "Am I a resident of Canada?" without checking any documents, despite my answer being positive “yes”. The whole appointment was supposed to be 30 minutes, but it finished in 2 minutes. When I tried to ask her any questions regarding opening the account, she answered that she is so busy, and if you want to open an account, she can do that in one month or more time. When I gave her a very specific question about accounts, she answered very offensively and impolitely, “Go to your previous bank and do it there. Why did you come here?”. Also, she pointed me to another staff member who was unprofessional and incompetent as well. So they just kicked me out without any explanation and referred me to the other bank. I am extremely upset that Ms Lida Strembicky, who holds the position of Senior Financial Services Officer, and Ms. Fitsalovich allowed themselves to behave that way with potential clients. I think that these ladies with such experience still need to work on their communication skills before getting the positions in BCU Financial. They exhibit unprofessional behavior in interactions with new clients and lead the credit union down! I don't recommend booking an appointment here, as nobody is going to help you, and you will waste your time!!!

Had my funds at BMO, was very disappointed with their customer service. Moved my banking relationship to BCU financial and very happy with my decision. Besides top notch customer service the rates they offer for deposit products are way higher than 5 big banks offer. Highly recommend!
