Very intentional trainers! They’re always willing to help with literally ANY training question you have. We had Delaney as our trainer and she was able to customize our training to fit exactly what our dogs needed. Even though both of our dogs were at different levels and have different personalities, we got really helpful training tips for both of them. We even requested to do horse desensitization training and Delaney was so great to make that happen. Also, all of the trainers at the group lessons are so nice to spend one-on-one time if you ever have additional questions. It’s been a great experience and an amazing resource to have for our dogs moving forward.
Ellie is amazing! My dog is more confident and so are we! She was so friendly and supportive, talked us through challenges and so responsive when we had questions outside of our personal training or group sessions. The pack walks are great and something we will definitely continue doing. Bethany and Sid were so great from the first meeting and worked with us so well through our own struggles of Puppy Parenting again. We highly recommend Be the Boss Dog Training.
In May my spouse and I were struggling with our dog (1 1/2 yo. that we got as a puppy) that despite our best efforts became reactive. He had several experiences with other dogs that made him fearful and we didn’t know how to help him overcome it. We found Be The Boss Dog Training online and decided to go to their free Pack Walks. He would not stop barking and lunging when we arrived. We were so embarrassed and frustrated, but they were so kind and understanding. With some time with Gina, he was walking nicely and not barking his head off. Over the next few months, Gina and her service dog Opal were able to help him understand he didn’t have to be afraid, teach him how not to be rude with people and especially other dogs, and to play properly. Most importantly, she has been able to teach us how to be better dog parents. He has now graduated (September of the same year) and he is a totally different dog. He actually listens, he lays quietly instead of barking and lunging anytime there’s a noise, he isn’t pulling my mother to the ground, and he is off leash, which I never thought would happen, but we are all so happy it did (he hates being on leash). The help from Be The Boss Dog Training has been life changing. They don’t only help you with your current pupper(s), they teach you the skills you need for your future pups and continue to with their classes, articles on their app, and the free Pack Walks.
