My stay at the resort was amazing! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hospitality was top notch, ambience was perfect. Maybe reduce Buggy wait time during seasonal time as we almost had a rift at the beach with an Asian family who were rude to us, acting like we didn’t belong there. Literally acted like they had the right to tell us not to get on one because they were a group. We didn’t know that as there was no visible queue and profiling bunch of random Chinese people to infer they are in a group would be stereotypical. I understand the resort cannot control the kind of people in their space however I brought it up with our guy at the receptionist who apologized for the situation. I will definitely be back here as I had an amazing time

We spent three nights on Pangkor Laut, staying in a Tropical Hill Villa, and it is a beautiful island. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by rainforest and the sound of nature. Emerald Bay is especially a stunning beach surrounded by rainforest with soft sand and clear water. It feels peaceful and untouched. It’s true that the rooms and the common areas for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets could use an update. The rooms are not spotless clean, and you can see that some areas would benefit from refurbishment. However, we were aware that this is an island resort, which naturally comes with logistical challenges. Keeping everything perfectly maintained in such a remote, tropical environment is not always easy, and we took that into consideration. For us, three nights was the perfect amount of time to fully enjoy the island. We had the dinner buffet once and dined twice at Uncle Lim’s. What stood out to us most was how incredibly hard the F&B staff work. We saw the same team members at breakfast, lunch, and dinner – clearly putting in very long days. Yet every single morning we were greeted with friendliness. Seeing the same faces day after day was both impressive and a little confronting. In the end, we enjoyed the breathtaking nature the most, along with the wonderful morning yoga classes. Pangkor Laut is all about natural beauty, tranquility, and the people who work so hard to make your stay special.

She made the booking process for our team of 9 pax (5 rooms) very smooth and convenient. Truly appreciate her professionalism and support. A very special thank you to the Ground Service Team led by Mr. Segar. The service we received was extremely warm, personalised and prestigious — truly living up to the iconic reputation of Pangkor Laut Resort. We enjoyed the wide array of delicious breakfast options at Feast Village, a beautiful and relaxing lunch by the beach at Chapman’s Bar, and a memorable dinner with flavourful Chinese cuisine at Uncle Lim’s Kitchen. Every meal gave us a delightful dining experience. The natural beauty of Pangkor Laut Island, combined with the exceptional hospitality from Mr. Segar and his team, along with the various facilities provided, made our experience truly valuable and unforgettable. Our meeting room at The Snug was also very comfortable, with free flow coffee and tea prepared for us — such a thoughtful touch. We highly recommend this resort, especially for couples, as the Sea Villa area offers a romantic and breathtaking atmosphere. Overall, we are very thankful to the entire hotel team — especially Ms. Yee Sin, Mr. Segar, and all staff — for the top-notch service and memorable stay. We look forward to returning again soon! 🙏🌴✨
